The PEI 4-H Council awards the prestigious Friend of 4-H Award to a business, organization or individual who has contributed financial, material or staff support at the provincial level recognizing a minimum of five years of support by a business or organization and ten years by an individual.

We are pleased to present this award to two organizations for 2010;

For more then 10 years, both the PEI Branch of Holstein Canada and Dairy Farmers of PEI have been strong financial supporters of 4-H participation in the US National 4-H Dairy conference in Madison Wisconsin. PEI sends one or two senior dairy members to Madison for a 4-day Conference & World Dairy Expo. This conference provides members with the opportunity to meet people involved in the American dairy industry and learn about dairy production, processing, and marketing. Whether it’s help with gathering items for conference registration kits or cash prizes for the Provincial Exhibition & Rural Youth Fair, the 4-H office can always count on the support of the PEI Branch of Holstein Canada and Dairy Farmers of PEI.
