Evangeline 4-H Club to be on TV!!!

June 15 and 16, the Evangeline 4-H club participated in the hit French TV show, ``La Petite Séduction."  Each episode of the show, a different French celebrity comes to a small town seeking to be impressed. The town's people have to work their hardest to make the celebrity want to live in the area that he or she is visiting. The Evangeline Region was lucky enough to have the french actress Marina Orsini as the guest star. Because Marina enjoys gardening, the Evangeline 4-H Club decided to plant tree's with her. They planted Silver Maples around the playground at the local school. These trees are very important in the history of the guest star's family. It took a lot of preparation before the show was filmed. We also visited a greenhouse to learn about different trees and how to plant them.

Over all, helping the environment and being on TV seamed like a great experience for all of the club's members!

Wednesday, the 15th of July at 9 o'clock and again on Sunday, the 19th of

July at 6 o'clock on CBC/Radio Canada.
