"Loblaws Foods Grant"
Thanks to the generous support of Loblaws, in conjunction with the Canadian 4-H Council, the PEI 4-H Council has $1000 worth of grants for clubs and food project groups to have a ‘Foods Experience’.
A food experience isn’t just any old pizza party, it’s when a group of members and leaders get together to make the pizza. It’s about experiencing the food, not just eating it.
Some possible food activities

- Host a tasting party for exotic foods fruits, cheeses, breads, etc.
- New look at familiar foods-visit to the honey drop manufacturer, or Cows Creamery
- Prepare healthy snacks or a meal for seniors club or local firemen’s meeting
The potential activities for foods project groups and clubs are endless; it’s just about experiencing food by either learning better as to where it comes from, how it get’s process, or how to prepare it for your table.
