November is National 4-H Month and we want to know what YOU and your 4-H Club are doing to celebrate! Will you rock out the green, showing off your 4-H colours? Or will you be extra sure to drink from a travel mug, or reusable water bottle? Will you support agriculture in the area, planting something, or maybe buying local? Will you let us know what you do!?!
The Challenge to 12-15 year olds:
- Decide to do something cool on 'Show your 4-H Colours' day, and/or during National 4-H Month.
- Take a picture, design an image, shoot a video, or create some other cool digital art form, celebrating 'the greatness of green'
- Submit to your provincial 4-H office
The Reward:
- One finalist from each of NFLD, NS, NB, and PEI will win their registration fee to the Atlantic 4-H Intermediate Members Challenge Weekend, in February 2010.
- There, the 'peoples' choice' will be given out!
This contest is open to 4-H members in Atlantic Canada, aged 12-15. Individual entries only. All entries must be received digitally, but may be in any medium (photo, video, image, audio, etc). By entering the contest, memebr give the Atlantic 4-H Committee permission to use their entry for the promotion of 4-H, including posting it online. Entries must be received by 4:00pm, November 15, 2010, at the Provincial 4-H Office of which you are a member. Please contact your provincial office for more details.
