What they do:

To make recommendations and provide guidance to Board of Directors regarding 4-H Agriculture and related miscellaneous projects, policies, and programs.

To make recommendations and provide guidance to Board of Directors regarding, national and regional livestock competitions.

To respond to 4-H livestock issues presented to the Board of Directors.

To promote 4-H agriculture and related miscellaneous projects via displays and activities at fairs and exhibitions.

To develop new and review current resource materials relevant to agriculture and related projects.
HOME ECONOMICS COMMITTEE

What they do:
- To make recommendations and provide guidance to Board of Directors regarding 4-H Home Economics and related miscellaneous projects, policies and programs.

To promote 4-H Home Economics and related miscellaneous projects via displays and activities at fairs, exhibitions or other 4-H activities.To promote Atlantic 4-H Home Economics workshops and competitions.

To develop new and review current resource materials relevant to leadership and Home Economics projects.
FUNDING COMMITTEE

To plan Leaders’ Development activities/events.

To serve as liaison with the District Council and the Board of Directors.

To provide a committee summary of activities to the P.E.I. 4-H Council to be included in the 4-H Annual Report
NOMINATIONS COMMITTEE
Who they are:

What they do:

To obtain members and leaders to sit on the numerous 4-H committees and other identified committees/organizations.

To submit a nominations report to the P.E.I. 4-H Council, consisting of the P.E.I. 4-H Council Board of Directors and their executive officers, chairs of the provincial standing committees, and member representatives to identified committees/organizations.
RURAL YOUTH FAIR COMMITTEE
Who they are:

What they do:

To establish date and location of the annual Rural Youth Fair.

To plan the annual Rural Youth Fair.

To attend and assist at the Rural Youth Fair.

To serve as liaison with the District Councils and the Board of Directors.

To evaluate and review the annual Rural Youth Fair and make recommendations based on evaluations.
PROVINCIAL 4-H SCREENING COMMITTEE
Who they are:

3 leaders appointed by the Board of Directors, one of whom will be chair

4-H Administrative Director (ex-officio member)
What they do:

To review information from and to conduct screening of prospective new leaders.

To respond to 4-H volunteer screening issues presented to the Board of Directors.

To make recommendations and provide guidance to Board of Directors regarding the 4-H volunteer screening policies and procedures.
